This site can be used to customize a map for your area of interest
within Richland County. Using the display tools, you can locate an address
or parcel number, zoom in on your area of interest, turn on/off features,
and print maps from your own computer. Because of the large amount of
data being displayed through your web browser, this application may
seem a bit slow. (Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and high
speed internet only)
Richland County Comparative Sales Analysis
The Richland County Comparative Sales Analysis Application provides the ability
to query and analyze sale prices for properties located within Richland County.
By entering a target property and radius, or selecting a custom area on the map,
the system will find all property sales in that area that meet the criteria defined
by the user. The resulting sales are then displayed on the map with colors based
on price/sqft. In addition, the sales are displayed in an interactive table that
can be sorted by any column.
Richland County District Information Application
Richland County is utilizing a spectrum of spatial technologies that are coordinated
in our GIS framework. Technologies such as the global positioning system (GPS)
and remote sensing provide us with powerful tools for data collection and analysis
that can be incorporated into the County GIS. By combining the use of these spatial
technologies, Richland County is creating a dynamic map of the physical and cultural
landscape of our community. Our ‘geo-place’ is Richland County. Thus, RC GEO recognizes
the characterization of our geo-place with geo-technologies. RC GEO encompasses
more than just GIS.

Map Book PDF
Richland County GIS has produced a map book series
in PDF format containing streets, street names, and other geographic features.
The maps were generated using Richland County's most accurate and up to date GIS
database and therefore include all completed roads and many that are still under
construction. The map book series will be periodically updated and made available
via the internet for download. You must have Adobe Reader software installed to
view this product.
Census
2000 Interactive Viewer
To
facilitate the dissemination of Census 2000 data, Richland County GIS has developed
an interactive web application for viewing demographics online. The application
was developed using technology recently approved as a W3C standard for displaying
graphics on the Internet. Until browsers are updated with the new technology,
users may be required to download the Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) plugin developed
by Adobe, Inc. If you have not used this application before, please begin the

To facilitate the use of Richland County GIS data
