FAQ's
Can I search by name?
No. In order to address privacy concerns of our citizens, you can only search
by address or parcel number.
What information do I need to perform a search?
Assessor records are accessible by either using the property parcel (or tax
map) number or by using the street address.
Can I have my records removed from the web site?
Yes. Our site has an "opt out" function built in. Just select the
"To opt out, CLICK HERE" link from the Privacy Policy page. Once you
have entered the required information about your particular property, your information
will not be displayed on the web site. After "opting out" on the site,
you have 15 days to return the necessary paperwork in order for your property
to remain unlisted. Click Here to Opt-Out
My property is not listed, why?
A property may be omitted either because the property was "opted out"
or because the parcel is new (since December 31 of the assessment period).
Why is the listing for my property not current?
The information displayed is based on the 2003 assessment information. Any changes
in ownership or property boundaries made after that period will not be reflected.
How can I get information about all properties (including those not on the
web site)?

Richland County Assessors Office
(located in the Richland County Administration Building)
